Such a lovely meal! I loved the way we were repeatedly surprised by unexpected flavors. A shaved watermelon radish and toasted pistachios made the Little Gem Salad pop. The Baby Beets had an amazing layer of hazelnut pesto. There was a burst of citrus in my Ricotta Ravioli, and my husband’s flat iron steak was complemented by the just right sweetness of a beet puree. Strawberry rhubarb panna cotta was delicious. Our server Jules was very warm and kind. We almost didn't make it because the restaurant was booked online but they gave us a table when we showed up in person. Very happy we ate here! A highlight of our stay in Sesttle.

Looked for a place to eat before our show and was happy to find this place open for happy hour! The happy hour menu was a great way to enjoy the amazing food and atmosphere without breaking the bank—especially during the weekend! The small bites plates were the perfect pairing with the selected pastas on the menu. I highly recommend the baby beets as the burrata goes well with the hazelnut pesto and beet flavor. The Tonnarelli was a perfect al dente and the Strozzapreti had a great spice to it. We may not go here beyond this time as the regular price is a little beyond our go to, but I recommend coming in for the happy hour times if you can!

In town for a conference and trying out all that Seattle had to offer. Monday night, my dinner companion and I agreed on Italian and Cortina was right around the corner from the Sheraton. The waiter/server/bartender recommended that we get two dishes to share which was a great idea. We also ordered toasted garlic bread. All the things we ordered had interesting names I can’t remember (or pronounce with confidence). Once you tasted the food you forgot to be worried about names. It was excellent. Atmosphere was casual and I think designed for conversation. We were there on perhaps a slow night which was comfortable and not too loud. I’m not sure what a busy night would be like. If I’m in Seattle again I’d like to go back for more.

Was part of a large group here. They have an excellent variety of Italian inspired small plates and pastas, and a more limited selection of larger entrees. We ordered almost all of the small plates, which were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The fish preparations were especially well done. There are lots of vegetarian options as well. Service was friendly and efficient.

Stopped by for happy hour on Monday and tried the fried artichoke, scrub drink, and pasta. Everything was delicious, although the pasta dishes were a little spicier than expected. I will definitely be coming here again next time I’m in town.

We had an amazing dinner at Cortina Italian in Seattle! Our server Jordon was great and Manageress Alyssa made sure everything was perfect. The meatballs were the best I've ever had and the octopus was so tender. The atmosphere was relaxed and the timing and presentation of the dishes were spot on. We had such a great time that we ended up staying later than usual, and to top it off, they even gave us a slice of tiramisu to try. Fantastic food and a class act - we can't wait to come back! 5 stars!

What makes this place a gem is how its setting is designed. The tables are in close proximity of each other like everyone is sharing a family meal. The portion size is perfect for an individual or to share depending on how hungry you are. I was surprised by the Happy Hour portions as you won't go hungry. None of us ever ate here so it was great to be pleasantly surprised. Only downfall was parking.

A wonderful and truly tasteful experience all the way around. I’ve recommended Cortina to residents in my building downtown and they all say...Great chef, great staff. Next time I’m going even hungrier.
